I am the head of the Electrical Sub-team for UW Robotics. We are working towards competing in the University Rover Challenge in Summer 2019. I have designed PCBs and power distribution for the rover, as well as performed some testing.
I built a digital safe that can be opened using a secret knock pattern through the use of timers and interrupts, and other digital/analog circuitry.
I learned the basics of signals and amplification through the process of designing, prototyping, and debugging a Class D Amplifier based on some reference designs.
I prototyped and designed an infrared transmitter and receiver to tests for use as a wireless remote in a future robotics project.
